Outdoor Learning in the Wild - (Early Years & Nursery Educators Training Day) | Monday 24th March 2025
9:30am - 3:30pm
Spend an exclusive day outdoors with us learning how to bring your curriculum to life, looking at the essential movement needed for the development of the ‘smart phone' child. With literacy ideas to lift writing standards, maths ideaswhich create more problem solving opportunities and ways to get your kids OUTSIDE and off those screens. We will wrap up the day with songs around the campfire.
Shonette, an expert in Early Years Outdoor Classrooms, and Clarey, a specialist in Outdoor Learning, are both active Primary School Teachers who will spend a day with you in an outdoor setting. They will share their proven strategies and connect these concepts to your unique outdoor area. You will depart feeling inspired and filled with budget-friendly ideas to integrate into your school, nursery or child care environment.
For the day ahead, make sure to bring outdoor clothing, a clipboard, wellies, and layers since we will be outside for the entire day.
Delicious home cooked lunch provided in the Walled Garden.
